Free Speech Denied to Protestors in Minneapolis-St. Paul During RNC Convention

First Amendment right to free speech guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution? Wait a second—“Stop throwing the Constitution in my face. It's just a goddamned piece of paper!” after all, according to President George W. Bush. But does he speak for the Republican party? News has been leaked via independent media that planned peaceful protests during the Republican Convention this week are being shut down ahead of time, with absurd claims by the police of "violations of fire code," and worse, "Suicide bombers. Chemical or biological attacks. Lone gunmen. Terrorist attacks. Riots. Blockades that could shut down the Republican National Convention." Police in the Twin Cities have been cracking down, making arrests, and altogether subduing citizens preparing to exercise their right to free speech.
